A $500,000 bond was set Friday for the mother of a missing Glendale child. 38-year-old Jerice Hunter’s daughter Jessye Shockley hasn’t been seen since last year. Police believe Hunter murdered the then-five year old and disposed of her body several days before reporting her missing October 11.

The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal by the state of Arizona over its voter registration requirements. In 2004, Arizona voters passed a ballot proposition requiring prospective voters to prove they're a citizen before they can register to vote using a state form.

The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home in Phoenix that faced a bulldozer is now looking at a better future. Wright designed the home for his son David and daughter-in-law Gladys. The house shares some of the spiral design elements of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and was purchased earlier this year by a private company.
