As Hurricane Hilary drenched parts of our region last week, there were hopes that all of that water had to be good news for our shrinking reservoirs like Lake Mead. 

But, that didn't entirely happen.

In a recent column in the Arizona Republic, Joanna Allhands argues that just the fact that we’re asking the question speaks volumes about how we manage our shrinking share of the Colorado River. 

The Show spoke with Elvia Díaz, editorial page editor of the Republic, to talk more about it.
